Rise Twain – Everspring Single

J.D. Beck and I have released the first single from our self titled album. The song is Everspring, the album is Rise Twain. The full collection will be released the 6th of September on Insideout Music.

Ten tracks, 50 min of music.

The song Everspring is J.D. Beck on piano and vocals, me (Brett William Kull) vocals as well, electric guitars, bass, percussion, keyboard textures, and Jordan Perlson on drums. Mixed by me at Catapult Sound, mastered by Kim Rosen at Knack Mastering.

Here are the lyrics:

She was ably undone and wondered what she’d wished

All the pretty girls sing of pretty things they’ve missed

Like lovers and gardens and the sweet themes that they’ve lived

They bury their winter and bow to the flawless ever-spring

Is there a veil before her eyes?

Run to me, mercy, love

Is it the way that she survives?

Run here, mercy, love

The earth beats a rhythm to the measures of our life

But spin-casting shadows hit the bars of our mind

Like devils and boxes that hold sacred things

We bury the winter and bow to the flawless ever-spring

Is there a veil before your eyes?

Run to me, mercy, love

Is this the way that we survive?

There’s so much to live

Can you quit in your time

Where we think we're the winter

And we cross the flawless line?

Lyrics by ~ Brett Kull, with some nuance from J.D Beck
